with black and white horizontally striped shirts?
i bought one over the summer thinking it was a classic look and a good addition to my wardrobe.
now i'm back at wes, and EVERYONE is wearing them. i was in the student the other day and i counted SEVEN girls wearing wearing them just downstairs.
last night i went to a vegan potluck (there were about a dozen or so people in attendance), and three girls were wearing them, plus one girl in a black shirt with white stripes (subtle variation) and another girl wearing a white and gray striped shirt.
did i miss the memo?
when exactly did this shirt become the mandatory college female uniform?
guess i need to find a new thing to enjoy for a few precious weeks before it becomes so self consciously mainstream.
on the plus side, bear in heaven is playing a free show at eclectic tonight.
